Rise of Zion media. 2nd coming social network.

Who sees unsolicited things show up on Facebook or YouTube?  One I sen on YouTube was a rise of Zion by Seth Saunders.  Comes on Facebook too.  Quoting some conference talk, calling of apostles,  things an apostle said at area meeting, and fit that in with sign of the times.  There have been people like that since the days of Paul.  M. Russell Ballard 1996 BYU devotional said he does not know when the 2nd coming will be, none of his brethren in twelve so no one else does.  There always will be people that make guesses though.

I have gotten some as well.  Not interested in last days stuff, so guess it’s just the LDS link.

One of the issues with Seth is that he seems to "borrow" heavily from Jared "I have a spreadsheet for that" Davies of "Christian Homestead" and other channels without acknowledging where he got the topic idea or talking points- which becomes obvious after a while. Troy Ables said something months ago that makes me believe they have noticed- but Seth appears to be such a nice guy, I don't think they want to publicly confront him

I've gotten bored with the "Second Coming Community" channels- too much reading between the lines and grasping at any fleck of straw in any talks or speeches. Jared has become way too dang repetitive.

I confess having clicked on some of his videos. Then I'd fast forward to the clip of the General Authority that the video was referencing. The content of the video almost invariably was much more benign than the title of the video suggests. Yes. It's the last days. Yes. There are warnings. But, I find his sensationalism to be more than a little off-putting. I second ZeolouslyStriving's position.

I don't like the Rise of Zion channel. Way too clickbaity. He talks a lot without really saying anything.

As far as Second Coming stuff is concerned I haven't been super plugged into that community for awhile but there are definitely some fun things to keep a pulse on. I would describe LDS Second Coming stuff as LDS Conspiracy Theory. If you want to keep tabs on things then follow the Temple Institute. They post on Facebook, I don't think they have a YT presence, and their site is https://templeinstitute.org which you can sign up for a weekly newsletter at. The Temple Institute are the Levites who are working to build the third temple which is what a lot of Second Coming prophecy is tied to. Here's a recent development on the situation https://israel365news.com/413978/update-and-clarification-regarding-the-red-heifer/ and, fyi, these red heifers are part of the reason why Hamas did what they did on Oct. 7th. I'm fond of Gerrit Dirkmaat's repeated reminder that we don't need to all evidence board/conspiracy wall to know how to prepare for the Second Coming; the prophets already tell us what we need to do.  Last I checked, they were admonishing us on the specifics of becoming better disciples of Christ.
