Yes. For me it means receiving His glorified, resurrected body and inheriting all His Father has (which He in turns shares with us, we being His "joint-heirs). Eh, I think we'll always be lowercase. Only the Father and Son are eternally upper case.

We know that. (It is the definitions that trip up our discussion, not the general concept above.)

From someone who literally refuses to watch videos from black people who actually knew Charlie. I'm done now- this is pointless. -

You are fundamentally missing the point of what he said, which he clarified. He didn't say that they weren't qualified. He said the because of DEI the fleeting thought, which he knows isn't right, of "are they qualified?" could sneak in. He hated that DEI had created a space where such intrusive thoughts could enter. If you all would research his black apologists, of which I have given you a list, you would see that you are being fed carefully curated proof-quotes and video clips. But I suppose I am wasting my time. -

Thoughts on new First Presidency?

Just that it would catch everyone completely by surprise. Again, nothing nefarious or conspiratorial in my comment- just a fun musing. -

Wouldn't it be something if they just left the Apostolic Interregnum in place for a few years? -

What a phenomenal question! I also am very interested in a response. -
Also, Lectures on Faith teaches that the Savior's temptations were equal to His greatness- meaning the trials He experienced far exceeded what we would be able to endure. Lecture 5:2

Reason it out. 😉 Of course they did. Do we not teach that a third part of our brothers and sisters rebelled against God, followed Satan, and were cast out of God's presence down to Earth? -

You said that Joseph expressly taught that Adam (and Eve) were "born" of Heavenly Parents. Are you now saying he didn't and that we should infer it from something he said? BTW, have you explored Blake Ostler's thoughts on the subject? (I only ask because you seem to indicate that we are a monolith, and have a very clear doctrine and mutual understanding of the subject as Saints.) -
I asked you first.

Does Dubai have political factions? I thought it was like Saudi Arabia with a ruling family (or few families), just a bit more moderate. I could be wrong though. -

How long was Bednar a GA before he was called? He was very young when called as an Apostle. -

I've been listening to Pres. Oaks' biography- I think you'd both be surprised how soft he really is. While in Chicago he started a justice project where students aided in the defense of indigent persons. He also helped fight for judicial reform in laws that disproportionately affected minorities. While clerking for the Supreme Court, he found himself agreeing with the liberal side much more often than he anticipated. Apparently, the "sternness" we see is because of how seriously he approaches Church callings, but at home he's loads of fun. His kids make fun of him about it. I encourage you to read or listen to it. -
Thoughts on new First Presidency?

My post had nothing to do with the variety of people conducting, but merely with who were the first two to conduct. BTW, there has been times where the First Presidency has had more than 2 counselors. (I think too many here don't read posts, they skim them looking for something to argue about.)
