As a side note, this is an anonymous account (as it should be if the case is as described) and it might be false accusations against these individuals.  No one should assume this is truth just based on this complaint.

Yes, I think caution is very much warranted here. First, it's not normal to post on a random message board about a grievance with your manager and doxing them. Second, the manager in question has his LDS mission listed on his LinkedIn page. You would think that someone who believes the Church is a cult wouldn't advertise his affiliation with it. Third, companies that are open on Sunday sometimes require customer service staff to work on Sunday. That's not religious discrimination. In fact, it's probably spelled out in the employment contract that jackl81 signed.

I predict as soon as a mod is available this thread disappears.

Well, my comments still stand. Anyone, anywhere who thinks or imagines they are being abused should document it and pursue action if they have documentation. None of us who believes/believed him said anything more than it was up to jackl81 to do anything about it. I don't think anyone was thinking to do anything ourselves. I'd just censor names.

I don’t think any of the advice given is problematic.  It is all well known advice you can find online for any type of potentially abusive or inappropriate behaviour.  I deleted some of mine just because if it was really necessary, I felt he should be talking to a lawyer rather than us.

I have no problem with the bold, it's the fact his supervisor spoke to him putting down his religion and calling it a cult. That just shouldn't happen, and causes an employee many problems mentally and physically too. Most people want to go to work in a good environment, and not have this kind of harassment behavior. Been there done that. One job I had was in an office at a First Security Bank, I'm old, and I was the new girl, and treated awful, and even broke out and had a huge rash all around my eyelids. This click of "mean girls" even harassed their supervisor, I don't know how that could happen.
