I've already said I was wrong when I said Kolob was a planet, I think I've admitted thattwice so far, jeez! I've already told bluebell I was sorry and I was probably a little harsh in the way I worded that when I responded back to her. So here's your award amulek🏅

Sorry, but that post just came off as so trollishly arrogant and rude that I couldn't help but immediately hit 'reply.'

I apologize for not reading farther through the thread to see that it had already been addressed.

If there are variations in what Gods can do I don’t think we would be able to tell the difference.

Yes your are absolutely correct, my problem is I like to think to much😁. There's a few things we do here on earth that have always baffled me. Like why do we do baptisms for the dead? I mean I know why we do them from what I've been taught, but why does God need us mortals to physically complete an ordinance someone has accepted in the spirit world? He's God, with tons of spirits helping him teach other spirits in spirit prison, why cant they take care of it themselves? Yes I understand that the baptism has to be performed on earth by proxy, but if that's so, if that's the case, if the spirits in spirit prison have to wait for us mortals to perform an ordinance for them, then that means the spirits teaching in the spirit world are limited in what they can do. All I'm wondering is, does that mean our god is limited. All worlds are governed by the priesthood, I'm just wondering if maybe some worlds are more advanced than ours because there eternal God is more advanced. I have 2 words for you, Eternal Progression. If your progressing that means your learning, if your learning then someone more knowledgeable is teaching you. Bamm!! There it is😁🤣. I know alot of people dont like to talk about this anymore but I often think about it. Let me leave you with a few words from one of my favorite talks by Spencer W Kimball. "Brethern, 225,000 of you are here tonight. I suppose 225,000 of you may become gods. There seems to be plenty of space out there in the universe. And the lord has proved that he knows how to do it. I think he could make, or probably have us help make, worlds for all of us, for every one of us 225,000." Spencer W Kimball. The privilege of holding the Priesthood.

I hope I can have Heavenly Father help me make a world for my children, working along side him, learning and experiencing his knowledge.

Some of us have a hard time keeping track of older posts while reading new ones (and the board only allows us to mark one post for answering later), so we will respond to older posts immediately rather than waiting till we get to the end of the thread even though it may be days and many posts since that post was made.

Most posters are probably not like me, checking the board several times every day and there are a number of times I need to edit into a post “I see this has been already answered” or even leave a nvm (never mind) after deleting the post.

It is useful when seeing such posts to just think “I see they haven’t caught up yet” and ignore posts you know will be answered if they continue reading or say something like “asked and answered” or other short recognition that there is already a relevant post in there in case they missed it....as one can lose track of where one was reading at times when responding to a long thread and miss a number of posts.

No, that isn't the problem and it is not possible to think too much.

That is what questions are for.  We just need to know who to ask to get the right answers.

Because that is what God has told us to do.  It is simply a matter of procedure.  Our Father prefers a system of organization and that we follow his system of organization rather than others thinking he should adopt a "whatever you want to do" attitude.

And no that does not mean he is limited, or at least not limited by other people.  He just prefers that things be done in a particular way before he will approve of how things are done.

Yes, other worlds are more organized and do things according to the will of God better than most people in this world do, but not because God is more advanced there.  It is because the people on those worlds are more advanced.

More intelligent.

All we need to do is whatever God wants us to do.  Make the right kinds of choices.  Choose the right things.  Do what God wants us to do and would do in our place even when other people are not living their own lives that way.

Overcome the world.
