It would be nice if the feds decriminalized cannabis as it would save us a nice bit if we were able to put this on our no tax health care card, especially if I go that route, which it looks like I will.  She had me at ‘it works well for my rls’...though she doesn’t need it every night, so not as severe a case.

Tacenda, you might want to call up the one near you and see if you can have a consult with the pharmacist to see if they have something more effective than what you are using right now.   There is until the end of the month the ability to use a compassionate letter from your doctor instead of applying for a card.  Not sure if there are restrictions on it, if it has to be one of the specialists (you can find the list online on the gov site) or not, but if you can get it done quickly, you can try it for a week or two and then if you find something you like, go back and get enough to last you while applying for a compassionate exception...and my daughter’s psychiatrist says it isn’t too hard to get with anxiety.

It was tons easier to do than I expected.

I've read both of these posts and I'm in tears! I'm praying this helps your daughter! I hope all I've said about it helping isn't just air! I have two friends, one with severe burning feet or neuropathy and arthritis. And my other friend has severe RLS, both have medications that they take religiously, the friend with RLS has gained a lot of weight with her meds, but she also takes a form of Adderall, for narcolepsy. But the minute I mention using cannabis the stop signs go up, and the looks. I just laugh and say I will shut my mouth about it. But this gives me hope that it's not as stigmatized and that they'll get some help in a more natural way. Not saying cannabis is the one and only way to treat.

I love that you had someone pay it forward! I hear it's terribly expensive. I pay $125.00 for my tincture that lasts at least 3 to 4 months. I recently got a bottle that had 75% THC 25% CBD for pain, if needed. And that day came when I was injured, my back, playing pickle ball. First time I'd ever used it during the day. And only used 3 drops under the tongue, and it actually worked, I didn't have high hopes, but I was able to stand upright, and it did make me more talkative and giggly as well. But not a high feeling or the paranoia. I think it's paramount to have the right dosage and everyone is different on what their bodies will handle. As long as you're in a safe environment there isn't any harm to our bodies if one does too much I'm thinking. I'm glad you went through your medical doctor because it may interact with certain drugs that someone is taking currently. I believe one is blood thinner, which my friend might be on, so hopefully she'll get help from her doctor and that doctors will get trained about cannabis.

Oh and finally, to answer your statement about my going to get a letter or medical card, I think I might just do that. My doctor is aware of my using cannabis, and he's glad it's helping my hypothyroidism, and hoping it helps with my prevention of ALZ. I'm almost sure he'll give me a letter! It'd be nice to know that the ingredients I'm taking are safe and tested! But the price is kind of what I'm worried about. I hope one day this can be covered by insurance.

And also, it's amazing for our bodies overall with inflammation especially!

When I try it out, I will definitely let you know if it helps my burning feet and/or rls.

The pharmacist that is required to be there whenever the dispensary is open could definitely help with that. Everyone should bring a list of their meds and supplements with them.

This helps! I mentioned it to my brother who has severe back pain from his job. He said awhile ago someone gave him CBD oil to try and it didn't help. But I'll bet it was the CBD oil that doesn't have THC in it, and now I believe that is now legal in Utah with a medical card or letter (until Dec. 31st)! I'm going to contact my doctor right away.

It was likely a lower concentration as well. When my daughter is up, we can compare the amount in her dose to yours.

She is having quite a bit of vertigo with it. She is going to stick with the 1:1 strain and not take it more than 3 times daily to see if she can get used to it. If not, we will go back and get something more CBD

Is the pharmacist helping you, sure hope so! Did I mention the Cannabis Oil Success Stories, a private FB group, recently? They are a great help if you want to join it.

I will call in a day or two if it doesn't get better for her.  She wanted to try making some adjustments on her own.  Based on my reading, dizziness tends to happen more with newbies, so it may just be she needs to take low doses till her body gets used to it.

This isn't Cannibis Oil and my understanding is the concentrations are much higher.  What is the stuff you use?  How many milligrams per dose of THC and CBD?  We can compare.
