2BizE Posted May 25, 2020 Posted May 25, 2020 I seem to recall the events a bit differently...hundreds of missionaries stranded in the Philippines and South America and chartered flights being sent to collect them. I remember wondering why they didn’t have the insight to pull those missionaries at the same time ones were being forced out of Korea. I also remember faithful members complaining about seeing missionaries throughout the United States and Mexico still about going door to door after governments had shut things down.... 1

I don't think it was different than the article said, just that the article was incomplete. There were a lot of struggles that didn't get included, but it did share some of them. Really you would need to write a book to even get a little bit of what happened both good and bad. 3
