Avatar4321 Posted February 16, 2020 Posted February 16, 2020 I recall a conference talk a few years ago when Elder Cook (I think) mentioned one passing that the twelve are taught by the Spirit and by Christ from time to time. I can’t find it though. Anyone else remember?

The OP title is "Christ Teaching the 12," so he may be referring to the Council of the Twelve/Quorum of the Twelve. Of course, at Qumran, the Essenes had 15 (Twelve Elders plus Three Supervising Priests) governing the sect (1QS 8:1-8, 1QM 2:1-2, CD 7:5, 20:25,7; 4QpIsa [4Q164] 54:12).
