Duncan Posted May 29, 2019 Posted May 29, 2019 Just when I think I've heard and seen it all, in the church, a literally just turned 17 yr girl( jn my ward) is engaged😮😦😦😱😱😱 but she's supposed to get married in a year, her fiance just joined.I realize in a year she'll be 18 but I was wondering if an under 18 yr old can even get sealed in the Temple?
Popular Post Derl Sanderson Posted May 29, 2019 Popular Post Posted May 29, 2019 Per Handbook 1 you cannot be sealed in the temple until you have been endowed, and you cannot be endowed until you have reached age 18 and are no longer attending high school or its equivalent. 5

I believe 18 is the min, or I hope so. I married my wife when I was 18, she had just turned 19, that of course was in the South in the 70’s, some 44 years ago. Any marriage (looking back) earlier than 20, frightens me. 1
