Even though I have asked people not to bring us meals they seem to insist on it. I am a trained chef (although no longer in the restaurant business) and a picky eater on top of that. Any meals brought over generally get thrown away.

We hired movers throughout our married life whenever we moved, its actually very inexpensive for what they do. Besides I'm getting to old to assist younger people who can afford to hire movers, move in or out. Note that many people cannot afford where they choose to live and do it anyways. It is the same with the cars people drive. 1

Anon, your comments have a familiar ring, almost like I've heard them before. I hope you have a chance to read the Conference issue of the Ensign, or better yet, watch it on YouTube. You may gain an inkling of why we love the Church of Jesus Christ and how we feel about Savior in our lives. If we want to follow Jesus Christ, we all have a lot to learn, don't we. I love Paul's epistle to the Philippians chapter 1:15-18: "15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will: 16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds: 17 But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. 18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice." I think it's better to preach Christ in love. But I agree with Paul, "whether in pretense, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice." Why? Because when people consider Christ for any reason, the door is open for them to change their lives for the better through our Savior, Jesus Christ. 2
