He is getting user names and passwords for a "massive" project. I am a service missionary for familysearch and the target is obviously familyseach.org to corrupt the data base. The name and password for familysearch is the same one used on lds.org. By the time security catches onto his plan he and a group of volunteers can cause enormous damage. It would make sense that those who are giving him their usernames and passwords are deleting their financial information first.

Why do you say the target is familysearch?

rpn Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 If I were church IT, I'd enact two factor authentication by June 15th, or take lds.org offline for a while, or at least establish algorithims to address unusual activity. OTOH, maybe I'd do nothing and deactivate the involved accounts when misused as the people would have had to give him the info, meaning they've forfeited their access to lds.org anyway. He might be just trying to stir up concern with nothing happening, though he's painting himself as satan incarnate. 1
