I’ve been banned from a topic, does anyone know why?

Help/Insight required, please.

I tried to read the thread “one of our former...” on which I had been posting an got an error message telling me I was banned from the topic.

Will I be informed as to specifically what it was I was banned for, so that I may consider how to evolve my posting style to avoid this type of error in future?

Has anyone with access to that thread got any suggestions as to what it was I did that was thread ban worthy?

Perhaps you could find out by accessing the website without logging into it. Maybe that would enable you to see the thread on a read-only basis.

Let's just say your last post would be very welcome in certain other forums.  They would be cheering in the streets.  Create entire youtube videos quoting you.

Speaking as one who has been banned several times.

The mods never explain their actions here.  I think disagreement is allowed and non-belief is allowed, but implying racism isn't allowed. I think that is safe to say.  This is a believing site that will only go so far with the critics.  Keep it mild, I guess, and you will not be banned?

I just read through the thread. There was no reference to you being thread-banned.

However, Smac97 did make an observation I agree with, which is that the thread was turning ugly fast. Perhaps you weren't the only one to be thread-banned. Perhaps there will be yet other thread-bannings.

But yeah I think it was that comment suggesting that God only suggests white men, implying racism.  YOU HAVE TO GET TO THE HEAD OF THE CUE and the line is minimally 60 years or so from Melchizadek Priesthood ordination, going by President Monson's timeline EVEN AFTER "God picks you".

He gets to veto his initial suggestion for that long by transferring you to a mission on the other side of the veil

Actually it takes like 50 years or more of being an elder to get from calling as a GA to becoming prophet if you just check the time lines.  President Monson took like what- 17 years from being an elder to becoming an apostle and he was the youngest EVER and became a prophet at age 36.

It took HIM- the youngest ever- to become a prophet in 61 years.

So 1978 plus 61 is  realistically is how long it would take for anyone ordained to the Melch. Ph. to get through the ranks from Elders Q pres etc to Prophet.

So those ordained in 1978 MIGHT have a shot by 2040 or so, IF they are on the "fast track".

Trust me, I think most members would love having an African American prophet so we could get rid of stupid questions like this whole thing.

Golly, gee, Marginal Gains, I'm sure the blatant race-bating you engaged in on the thread had absolutely nothing to do with it.

I'm as mystified as you are.
