churchistrue Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 I assume it works the same way as last year. If you pay to get the streaming, you get access to the videos. If not, you don't. Is that right? Are the videos available now? If not, when? Thanks.
Robert F. Smith Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Yes. As to how long, it seemed to me that it would take a couple weeks, but I'm not sure. I most highly recommend the lectures by Ugo Perego, Gerrit Dirkmaat, and Dan Peterson. Good info, and much humor.
Calm Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 I will try to keep up by starting threads here when they are ready though on occasion I miss something, so checking out FairMormon.org or our Facebook page is probably the best way to keep up. I believe there is at least one ready to go as soon as our tech person has a chance to get home and gets a moment's breath. If they provide a transcript and stuck to it, those get up pretty quick, otherwise it may be a few weeks.
churchistrue Posted August 5, 2017 Author Posted August 5, 2017 Thanks. For some reason I thought the videos were available immediately but it took the transcripts a while to get posted. Bummer. I was hoping to listen while I did my honey do's today. But I know it's volunteer organization and these things take time.

Calm Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 (edited) Thanks, Robert. BTW, if you went to the conference, you should have received an email with a steep discount for streaming. If you haven't received it, but did pay to go to the conference and also want streaming, write us and hopefully it can be solved. "What many conference attenders opt to do is go to the conference and purchase the streaming. That way they can attend the conference and interact with the speakers and other attendees, with talks at their fingertips when they get home. If you purchase a regular ticket, you can add on streaming for only $5.00." https://www.fairmormon.org/conference/august-2017#streaming Edited August 7, 2017 by Calm 1
JLHPROF Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I was pleasantly surprised to find all the past conferences included free on the Fairmormon ROKU app...now if I only had time to binge watch. 1
HiJolly Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 I have been a student (and fan) of Freemasonry for many years, and am a former dues-paying member of the SRRS. I think Scott Gordon's talk on temples and freemasonry was a total home run. Great, accurate information. I highly recommend it. 1
