Calm Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 Bird noises get me which eliminate a lot. The techy sounding music is too annoying as well though it helps if there is nothing else. I should see what is new the past few years. They are so much better than the old white noise machines and some tapes, which I could identify where they looped and would start to listen for that.

I remember the 'morning forest' one had a lot of song bird noises. They had one that was whales and that one drove me nuts.
Calm Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 With the birds, it is for me "seriously, who thinks hearing a high pitched screech unexpectedly is restful". Whalesong....hmm, I wonder about that.
Calm Posted July 11, 2016 Posted July 11, 2016 So went and listened for ten seconds, water noises and whale song...why they chose rain or river songs insyead of waves is a mystery and the bubbles were not relaxing, but cool sounding so overall I was going with it. Until that long drawn out squeal! Who knew whales were sopranos? It was close to listening fingernails being dragged across the chalkboard. 1
VideoGameJunkie Posted July 14, 2016 Posted July 14, 2016 I've been taking anti psychotic meds since 2013 to sleep at night. They relax me and tire me out. Only problem is they've always taken 2 hours to kick in.
