Modalistic/Sabellian Clover. Has substance/Corporeal your Clover must be incorporeal [ Except for one leaf=Jesus]. It's all connected. Sorry it does not work.

Explain how it does not work ... could you explain it in terms of scripture ... thanks?

Alexander writes,

Power has nothing to do with size, but thanks for playing. God can direct his power anywhere he wants.

Does power have anything to do with omnipresent?

Heb writes,

And if you are in, through and above everything, then you can't move and you can't separate yourself from anything. Do your scriptures saying that God moves lie?

Jesus is saying his Father's power is in, through, and above everything.

Of course God can move. The Holy Spirit is God. The Word is God. Jesus said you can abide in him or not abide in him ... sounds like movement.

Well, more anchient analysis views of the GODHEAD/TRINITY show drawings/paintings of 3 Holy Men, Not a singular shamrock which by the way is 100% corporeal plant life connected together in one plant entity without passions. Quite a difference than the Physical Seperatness of the GODHEAD found in variose portions of the Book of Revelations. See Rev 5:1-14 as an example.

Why must one Bow down before the Greek/Neo-Platonic/Gnostic/Hellenistic god of the Theologians/Scholars in order to be Saved ?.

" Jesus said, Whom do men say that I am ?

and His disciples answered and said, Thou art the Logos, existing in the Father as his rationality and then, by an act of his will, being generated, in consideration of the various functions by which GOD is related to his creation, but only on the fact that scripture speaks of a Father, and a Son, and a Holy Spirit, each member of the Trinity being coequal with every other member, and each acting inseparably with and interpenitrating each other member, with only an economic subordination within GOD, but causing no division which would make the substance no longer simple.

And Jesus said unto him " What are you talking about ?, you are not referring to me are you ?.

You know there isnt a problem with paintings of the Trinity....in ancient times....people understood the trinity. People KNEW that there was three persons but one God.

I was just curious...could you show me these paintings that you are refering to...after all you said there was more on the Trinity than One singlar one...because I can show different....for example Jesus. It seems that NOW that people are having misunderstanding of the Trinity than they used to...

I am intested in seeing these paintings....thanks.

Servant, I have in my files various pictures of "Early" Christian Art work depicting the GODHEAD/Trinity as 3 HOLY MEN. At my local Methodist Seminary I took quite some time to look at the early Pictrograghs of Biblical concepts, one of which was the GODHEAD/Trinity, 3 HOLY MEN, No shamrocks, eggs, water-liquid/ice/steam analogies.

Also there is much evidence that the "Early Christians" believed GOD to be Bodily/Corporeal. Grace.

The shamrock or the egg is just to explain or make a point......not that God has three heads or anything.....

Actually I spend many hours reading the ECF...and they believe God being a spirit....I have the works of the ECF they also believe in the Trinity. This goes back in early early centries...to the First centry

Now about the pictures...I am very interested in them...you said that there is more on trinity paintings than One God...right? Or were you trying to make a point? in any casee Trinity pictures doesnt fault anything what we are saying.

Yeah the Father, Son, Holy spirit are three persons of the Trinity...If I wanted to paint the Trinity that is how I would paint it...just to get the idea of the Trinity. That is what they did...not that they were three gods with different mind set....

could you post the paintings in here?

When will our critics deal with such material as : Early Christian Belief In A Corporeal Deity: Augustine and Origen As Reluctant Witnesses. Harvard Theological Review 83:2, April 1990. By David Paulsen.

Must GOD BE INCORPOREAL ?. Faith And Philosophy, A Journal of the Society of Christian Philosophers. Volume 6 #1 1989. By David Paulsen.

Both of these Publications are put out by Non/LDS Christian Organizations.

I will tell you right now that Augustine did NOT believe that God was in human form....

Just curious have you read the works at all from the ECF? Or are you basing this off a site with bits of their work?

Posted

just curious....do you believe that the ECF and all their works (I mean since you are the one who is bringing them up)....? From what I understand that Mormons dont....if you do then why dont you follow what else they say...not to mention one should read all their work instead of bits.

just want to make it clear

my first question was Just curious have you read the works at all from the ECF?

is this a yes?

my second one was: Or are you basing this off a site with bits of their work? and this a no?

Servant I suggest that you go to Michael T. Griffiths Web site by way of the "Web Links" from S.H.I.E.L.D.S main page. He has much material on the Apostalic Fathers and There Doctrine's/Teachings?Beliefs.

Make sure you read the primary source documents if you really want to know and not an LDS commentary interpretation of the ECF works. Their assumptions miss the boat as they do not know the mind of the ECFathers. I challenge anyone who REALLY wants to know the truth to D & C it; research it, study it out in your mind and ask the guidance of the Holy Ghost. He will reveal to you the truth. Be willing to throw off your LDS prejudice and any pre-conceived notions that you have and have a truly open mind and heart. And yes, it will take you more than a few moments of skimming someone elses commentary. Be prepared for enlightenment!

You know, if you sincerely want to know or understand this, the answer is out there. I would suggest you stop in to your local Catholic parish and ask to speak with the Priest. He would be more than happy to answer any of your questions you may have and will be able to direct you to some good resources.

Just two questions:

What does "D & C it" mean?

Who knows the mind of the ECFs?

What does D&C it mean? Research it, study it out in your mind and ask the guidance of the Holy Ghost. I'm sure you remember the verse that suggests that.

Who knows the minds of the ECFathers? The Roman Catholic Magesterium, as the ECF's were the RC church's early leaders.

Here is something I thought of this morning....the Mormons believe that before we came to earth.....we were born of our spiritual parents....or something like that....well were we born of flesh and bones then? Or were we born of spirit parents?

**and: Do you believe God knew what every single person would do with that free will when God "gave" it to us? Doesnt sound so free.

I think I replied to this, but wanted to make it clear. God is ALL knowing. Meaning He KNOWS the past, present and future.

This really doesnt have anything to do with free will. Now if he controled and forced us to move this way or that way or do this and do that...then THAT is when it wouldnt be "free"....

So yes God knew what everyone would do...since He is after all...All knowing.

Btw...I am a slave to Christ....

I once had a conversation with a Jewish man about the Old Testament. I don't remember it too well but he did say that the authority to interpret the Old Testament was in the hands of Jewish rabbis for much the same reasons.

We are spirit children of our Heavenly Father, who is a person much like we are (flesh and bone).
