I've been reading the LDS theology presented on this site since 2005. So actually, I was only presenting the theology I learned here! On this site I learned that ONLY Melchesidec can be exalted, period. That is the purpose of sealing, to allow the Melchesidec Priesthood member to bring along his wife to this heightened state. So following this logic, if a woman could receive the Melchesidec Priesthood, she would not need a man to get her there.

I didn't say we didn't need our husbands (or vice versa). I disagreed with his idea of purpose to the sealing ceremony and the imagery that it renders. With luv,BD 1
