    Has anyone read/seen Jeremy Runnels rebuttal to the F.A.I.R  critique of his letters to a CES Director ?. I just wanted to know in case this comes my way via my Missionary efforts for The LORD OF LIFE/LORD/REDEEMER/SAVIOUR/ GOD/KING/MASTER CHRIST JESUS in my area.May True Grace Be With You all. Thank you.

I am not going to link to it, do a google on the title or on cesletter rebuttal and it will come up easily.

 

Or did you want an analysis of it?  If so, there was a thread on it a bit back, so you could do a search on ces letter or something to find it though I am not sure how much analysis was actually done.  It is not possible at this time due to more important commitments for FM members to rebut the rebuttal, it may eventually happen someday.

I'm curious as to the name change.  I see there is a FAIR that deals with immigration reform.  Was there some need to clarify the name, if you can say?

People didn't get the apologetics, it makes for a closer tie with the Church, easier to remember since the "Fair" isn't an abbrevation, it is a unique name as you indicated there are other FAIR organizations, I can't remember the others but I think there were one or two.

So, yes we know that the CES Letter is detailed and a very complete list of arguments against the Church in one volume. FairMormon responded and then Jeremy responded. Whether it could go on and who would get worn out with the cycle is another question. Are there tone and perspective problems with the CES Letter-yes. Did it ask the right questions or is it earth shattering-probably not. There are some responses besides FairMormons, I have looked at them as well as the original CES Letter. Am I still going to Church on Easter to celebrate the resurrection of Christ-yes. Do I still believe in the Church-yes.
