Thank you for getting his name right.

There seems to be a penchant among some to write his first name as "Eldredge" for some reason, perhaps from some of the same ones who are prone to call President Packer "Elder Packard".

One of my friends tracted into him about 10 years while serving in the SLC mission. Needless to say Elder Smith did all the talking and my friend, also then Elder Smith, and his companion did all the listening!

Was there any mention of this in conference? Such an interesting history to the office.

President Uchtdorf noted it in the opening of Priesthood Session.

Priesthood session. I think President Uchtdorf mentioned it in his introduction.
