I think there are a lot of people here who would really enjoy this book. It is inspiring, challenging, insightful, and fun.

For me, the most refreshing thing about these essays is how Miller approaches Mormon theology. He's not trying to advocate for any given position. Rather, he explores concepts and makes no argument that a given theological perspective should influence Mormon doctrine. In other words, he makes it quite clear that only the First Presidency and the Quorum of the Twelve can establish doctrine but still recognizes that concepts such as the Atonement should be examined and explored because such examination is worthy, in itself.

Personally, I found Miller's insight into the Atonement particularly moving.

I've been reading a bit about fractals and the Mandelbrot set over the past couple of months and decided to switch things up.
