Is Oxford Still Going To Publish Terryl Givens'S History Of Mormon Theology?

On the website it no longer lists Oxford as a publisher.

Interesting observation but tough to say... his "current projects" list seems out of date. The other two books he has listed as current projects have projected publish dates that clearly aren't gonna happen (2011 & 2012).

Since his track record is one book per year over the past six years, I'd guess that only one of those three new books will be published in 2013. As for a publisher, it'll be interesting to see if he makes the switch to Ensign Peak a permanent one.

Good catch. I hope he continues to publish peer-review.

Not sure what you mean by that?

Like, have his books published by a reputable scholarly press.

The excursion to Deseret was good because he needed to reach doubting Mormons.

But he is our superstar, the key player in bringing Mormonism to academic respectability.

Ah, got it. Good point. I hadn't thought about it from that perspective.
