"Knowing more " isn't mere facts that you read in a book but experiencing living one's religion, and particularly in a church that believes in being guided by the Holy Spirit.

Strangely, more often that not, that doesn't seem to be a universally-held assumption on this board regarding non-LDS "lifestyles". I'm sure he had plenty of reason for frustration, yeah, so it's not really going to make me look at him any worse or anything.

I really don't mean that as harshly as it is probably going to sound. It's not one of my virtues, either. But, I have to say that does kind of concern me, if we're talking leader of one of the largest nations in the world.Daniel, I understand what you're saying about members not always knowing more than outsiders. I don't think that is, probably, the case, with Mitt Romney, but it certainly can be a fact. I ran into critics, soon after my baptism into the church, who definitely knew a lot more about the church, than I did. But, someone like Romney, who is a lifetime member and served as both a Bishop and Stake President, probably knows his religion pretty well.

In the movie about his life he once took his wife and attempted to physically throw her out of his home.

He really could have tried to explain all of that in a much more calm (and kind) tone. The other guy wasn't really going after him. He was open to what he had to say. Romney seems to get frustrated with people very easily. I've noticed that in many of his interactions.Actually, I've noticed that he tends to be calm and level-headed. In the three debates with Obama, our dear President came out and stated some things that were real zingers in terms of misrepresentation (e.g. 5 trillion dollar tax-cut), that Romney repeatedly called him on, without getting too particularly upset about. In the case of the 5 trillion dollar thing, if it had been me I think I would have hit the roof after the umpteenth time the President stated it. So, I credit him with more calmness than you do.And as to this little video, he refers several times to on-air incidents that we are not made parties to, so what is he reacting to, exactly? Questions in the nature of "Have you stopped beating your wife?"
