I didn't see anything about people being killed for being apostate

Also, I didn't see anything about it being a massacre, or anything remotely like the MMM

Maybe Tacenda has more info not available on the Wikipedia entry.

When searching for Morrisite/Danite I got lots of anti-mormon web sites and conspiracy theorists. Tacenda has been sampling the dark side again and swallowing it whole.

I thought it was the Danites that were involved because I read something that alluded to it. But with more research this was what I found.

Oops you've all been very busy, while I back peddled trying to find out information out of the dark. Sorry I mislead. But I believe this was an embarrassment for the church. Sorry though.

Wow the Danites included Chief Justice John F. Kinney and President James Buchanan! They were more powerful than I imagined!

But I believe this was an embarrassment for the church..

How so. Because the leader of a group holding hostages was an excommunicated Mormon?

I don't expect Evangelicals to bear the stigma of David Koresh no matter how I feel the government handled the situation.

I didn't include one of the legitimate websites which was a comprehensive look a Utah's History because you'd have had to read quite a bit into it. But at the end of the article it said it was an embarrassment. But now can't find it.

Uh huh.

Like the History Channel resorting to playing spooky music every time Brigham Young was referred to in their Mountain Meadows Massacre special because they had absolutely no factual evidence tying him to the act.

Oh if you have the time to wait I'll retrieve it via the web. Somewhere.
