Physical Pleasures In Resurrection?

Will we still enjoy simple pleasures like eating, and drinking, and breathing in the resurrection?

(And will we still need food, and air, and water?)

I will pass on "breating" but will happily take eating and drinking because God cooked Nephi's meat and so I know he can cook and I will stand in that line if you don't mind

Eating and drinking in this life inevitably leads to other consequences. If those can be avoided then fine. Christ appeared to be able to eat and drink after his resurrection so I think it is possible, but whether it is necessary is unknown.

If there aren't any sensual pleasures in the next life then I see little need for the resurrection. Whether they are what we experience now or something beyond our comprehension I do not know. I do know they will be amazing. If God didn't want us to think in those terms of heaven he probably wouldn't have used sweet fruit in Lehi's vision as a metaphor for his love.
