Do you have to be driven, say like in a work-acoholic type way or want to be in charge or having people go to you?What if you are the easy-going type? What if you do your work but are not driven for high levels? What if you like quiet and solitude or just a few friends around?I see that most if not all church leadership, from the stake presidencies up are almost always driven, successful, etc. Now I understand that from an adminstrative view and the corporate structure of the church, but is not true for all.

I have no idea how it will look after the operation. You will still be you.....actually it is the only way you can be fully you. Paul's teaching about the body of Christ probably applies here. Magnify the gifts you have.

If you are in truth striving to follow God's counsel, even if you fail, if you keep striving, then you have the right heart. God has eternity to work on the rest with us. If you are not as driven, then perhaps you will learn slower. It's not the pace you get to perfection, it's how you get there.
