Avatar4321 Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 They always have the texts up by wednesday or thursday after conference.
Calm Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 (edited) I just noticed that one of the sub links on the general conference page is Availability (on the left side of the text) and that shows 4 days after, mobile devices are 1 week. At the bottom of that page is a link to another page where you can sign up to be notified when it is ready as well as subscribing to a ton of other LDS services such as newsroom and Mormon Tabernacle Choir Premieres. Calm Posted October 4, 2011 Posted October 4, 2011 (edited) Been browsing through lds.org which I do on occasion to see what is new. Their media library (in the pull down menu under "study") is remarkable and I encourage everyone to look at it. Have a number of downloadables available (mentioning here for seriously honestly) as well as a section for volunteers to contribute to growing the site, see http://lds.org/servi...create?lang=eng (I think this is how Messenger has become a volunteer Church photographer).I must say that while I have found lds.org a great looking and remarkable professional site, it is somewhat dry, not much personality overall (though the talks and articles themselves have tons, of course) save this one page.http://lds.org/servi...photos?lang=engCheck out the bottom of this list of required needs for photos: Ongoing NeedsMembers around the world living the gospel as individuals, families, in their callings, playing, working, and being together.Families: We’re looking for families in natural-looking, non-posed settings.Missionaries and missionary work.Temples outside of Utah: For most Utah temples, we have plenty of photos.Church history sites, pageants, and visitors’ centers: We can use photos of both inside and out.Photos that tell a story: Entertain those who will see your photos.Concepts: Teach something.Holiday and seasonal: We can use them all year round.Objects: Submit almost anything (except green Jell-O®).
