ELF1024 Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 I promised myself that I would not bad mouth anyone in the last post and I am going to stick to that.I have found that the board is eating up too much of my time, and is not having the desired spiritual uplift that I came here seeking. I find that I am not smart enough or politically correct enough to really do well in these forums. That fault is only mine.As such I am going to be taking my leave of the board.I would like to thank those of you who I have come to respect on the board for you time and your words. I would also like to thank the Mods for putting up with me for the time I have been here.Best of luck to all of you.

IMHO, expecting the board to be a spiritual uplift is definitely a tall order but I find the board as a great medium for members and non-members to discuss and gain a better understanding of the LDS Christian faith.

Can you not just cut back and maybe post occasionally in those posts that are more general?Anyway, only you can decide, so I do send you all good wishes...GG
alter idem Posted June 28, 2011 Posted June 28, 2011 Given the very nature of message boards, they are too contentious to be spiritually uplifting on a regular basis. I think it's a good idea to leave and if you feel inclined later, then come back and maybe it will be a better experience for you.
