juliann
It is not allowed for a woman who is alive and remarries (who was previously sealed) to be sealed to another unless the first sealing is canceled. Actually, it is allowed with permission. Link to comment

cdowis
>Actually, it is allowed with permission. Apparently you know something that our temple president does not. Our temple president is under the impression that permission can only be granted when the previous sealing has been canceled. Please give us a way our temple president can contact you to get this new policy. Link to comment

Actually, it is allowed with permission. I don't believe this is true. A woman's first sealing must be cancelled before she can be sealed to another man.Do you know of some exception to this rule? Teancum
Go to the temple and do a sealing...that is all the documentation you will get. Sorry...the Church has no obligation to publish this new policy. If this is the case the church will most certianly publish it in an addendum to or in a new handbook of instructions. The current GHBI has comples rules for all sorts of sealing policies including sealing a man to another woman after his wife dies, or he is divorced as well as women to men, etc.Teancum Link to comment
juliann
Please give us a way our temple president can contact you to get this new policy. You know that requests go through the Stake Presidents to the First Presidency. Temple Presidents have nothing to do with it. It is not a "new policy" and there are exceptions to every rule. juliann
Do you know of some exception to this rule? More than one. Since women are sealed to all of their husbands when work for the dead is done it is a moot point anyway. Link to comment
Cold Steel
I don't believe it. It's clearly a MUL.Er...(Mormon Urban Legend = MUL) Link to comment
