The State of Mormon Apologetics

told him that as crazy as that sounds I could present convincing evidence to such

1) And the pictures of the earth from space as things orbit around it?  All fakes?  Even when we can use telescopes to see them up there?  It would be so, so costly to create fakes, why would any business agree to it?

Add-on:

2) If the earth is flat, what is a map of its' actual shape?  And does such make sense when compared to flight paths of commercial airliners that go for the most cost efficient (use least amount of gas) routes?

https://gisgeography.com/great-circle-geodesic-line-shortest-flight-path/

3) I have seen some maps of a flat earth and the Pacific Ocean is huge. It seems most land shapes besides Antarctic are treated as about the same shape and size, for example https://wiki.tfes.org/Flat_Earth_Maps  But to adjust for land being the same shape, the oceans are much bigger in certain places (depending on where poles are placed).   So please explain why the travel times across the Pacific and Atlantic oceans match a sphere rather than a flat earth?

4) assuming no one has actually traveled in space and it is a big fraud to make money, please explain satellites and how they stay in the sky.  If they don't exist, what are we seeing in telescopes?

Listening to an old recording of RadioFree Mormon or Consiligory(sp?) Here he is a Mormon apologist speaking to a group of members back in the 90's! I knew he once believed but had no idea the extent. I'd love to know what happened to make him do a 180, wow!

He sounds totally different. His voice currently is much deeper.
