Construction of Bengaluru temple in India is paused for now

The 2nd article linked (on Wikipedia) indicates that the FCRA license for the temple has been revoked.  FCRA = Foreign Contribution (regulation) Act which seems to be a law designed to limit what the government deems to be undue foreign influence.  My guess is that some folks within the Indian government view the Church as an undesirable foreign influence.

I was thinking that likely was it.
