That was always laughable to me, having lived in that area as a teen, it was already not what most would consider country (this was 20+ years ago....but much of my family still lives there). Their current motto could more accurately be described as "cosplaying country." Preferably by the wealthier brackets of humanity. It's average income is 6-figures, 70% of the town are college educated, with large plots given to mcmansion sprawl with a good chunk of the town dedicated to a country club and golf course. It's absolutely part of the DFW's MASSIVE suburban sprawl. "Country" hasn't really been a lived experience there for years. Especially where the temple will sit.

On an aside, I have no clue what sort of "healing process" includes trying to shame the other party into capitulation. But that's definitely not what I'd ever recommend for healing anything
