Um, a Pharisee. So wasn't it the Pharisees who strained over the law and added all kinds of additional rules and manusha to basic teachings? We have a hundred and 170 year history of prophets using the term Mormon, and in fact promoting its use and even wrapping a expensive and very public marketing campaign around it. The comes along R. Nelson and says using the term "mormon" is a win for Satan. It's past time that this frequent misquotation of President Nelson cease. He didn't say "using the term 'Mormon' is a win for Satan." He said dropping the name of Christ from the name of His Church or allowing nicknames to supplant it is a win for Satan. Quite a difference. Look it up. The talk is readily available online. Yes. Precisely what I said. That's not what you said at first. You misquoted him. You claimed he said using the term Mormon is a win for Satan. You left out the crucial phrase "instead of the full name of the Church." There's nothing inherently wrong with the name Mormon except when it supplants the proper name of the Church.
