Why would a divorce be occurring if no covenant was broken?

Happens every day.

You and I look on the covenant differently if you think this.

You really believe that the majority of couples sealed in the temple that divorce do so because one of them broke a temple covenant?

In this day and age?  With LDS divorce rates around what, 1 out of 5 (20%)?

Sorry, I think you are labelling covenant breaking far too liberally.

Not having sex or lusting after others isn't the only way to break a covenant.

Like the Law of Consecretion, deciding to no longer be in a fully committed relationship breaks the covenant just like insisting one's resources were one's own again and not committed to the betterment of the community or God's work.
