This is pure baloney

Quite possibly.  This is another metric that the Church obviously knows quite easily, but doesn't share.

Whether it happens in this life or during the millenium, I have faith that God will give us the time and knowledge to clear the planet.

There are only so many dead people.  And there are more temples now than ever before.    But what if we run out of names to do work for?  Is that an issue?  In our temple, they are limiting the names of people you can do work for to your own family tree.

Its estimated that since the beginning of time over 100 billion people have lived and died on this planet, while we probably will not be able to find all the names, I doubt we'll ever run out.

There were certainly duplications when the technology was not available for everyone to know exactly who and who did not have their temple work completed.  I suspect there were those who just wanted to be cautious and did the work for the ancestors without knowing with certitude that it had already been accomplished.  When you do genealogy you see individuals with their work done multiple times. I don't see a problem other than that had the individuals known they could have done the word for others.

Now the technology is better and I don't think we find high levels of duplicated temple work. Being humans I am sure it still happens, but just not as often.

I don't think for a minute the church lacks for names to send to the temple.  The amount of work being done now is incredible and the actual ordinance work slows down the process.  If anything, I expect to see - or at least it will not surprise me - the ordinances for the dead to take significantly less time in the future.  This will allow the work to speed up.  The live endowments will remain a longer process.
