Wall Street isn't a good gauge for Main Street. In 2009 401k's had blood bath. Further any increase in interest rates(Highly likely to occur) will decrease your 401k's value.

I'll sit tight and see what happens.

The only ones that will benefit from Trumpcare are the mortuaries.

President Trump said on Face the Nation that Obamacare is already dead. Left to itself, it will quickly collapse on its own.

After such sterling success, I'm ready to try something new.

Here's an informative, easy-to-understand newsletter about it.

It includes a link to the bill.

Zombie trumpcare still feels about right. This bill is awful. This newsletter is just about the ONLY one talking so peachily about the stupid bill. It's criticized by nearly every major medical association available, doctors, AND insurers. The changes they made were at best bandaids for what would be a hemorrhaging healthcare system if this were passed in full. The only solace I have with it is that the senate republicans aren't enthused about this and it's likely to be ripped to shreds or simply be given a counter proposal that would be very different from the first. The way it's stated I'm definitely nervous that my health insurance would be negatively impacted since I fall under low income brackets currently.

And you trust him??? This is a guy who believed the issues between North Korea and China could be solved easily...until ten minutes of talking with the Chinese leader.  The guy who realized after the fact that NATO still had relevance. The guy who can't remember what country he bombed but can remember in graphic detail the cake at mar-a-Lagos. The guy who seems to learn a new fact about how the government, military, policy, and international concerns work every ten minutes. The guys who has stated "universal healthcare!" As a campaign promise and then backs and pushes a bill that takes us further from it.

Obamacare isn't already dead. I've been a beneficiary of it since its inception In one way or another. It's the only reason I currently have quality health insurance. But it does have problems. It's not perfect. It needs changes and improvements. Trumpcare is not that. It's a flagrant disaster waiting to happen.

While past behavior isn't always future behavior it is the best indicator for such.

Trump lied. Actuaries have shown the opposite.of collapse for the ACA.

You bought a pig in a poke from the con-artist named Trump.  Where is the CBO score House Republicans had demanded of the ACA?

Life insurance is a valuable tool which is based on the actuarial fact that all of us will die eventually. The life insurance companies make money on the fact that most of us will live longer than we think. That is why it is called insurance.
