Duncan Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I know in legal matters if you know something illegal will happen or has happened and you don't report it you can get into some real kucka. In the mission field it's the same, I remember almost 20 years ago this mission sent home 6 missionaries early as 2 were into some monkey business and the other 4 knew about it but didn't say anything. Where do you draw the line though on being a snitch and telling on people or not saying anything and then you getting into trouble or just being indifferent to the rest of humanity?

My standard for my kids is that it's not tattling if 1) someone is going to get hurt or has been hurt or 2) something is going to be broken. I think that works pretty well for most adult situations too. I think you should get involved when someone or something needs to be protected. 2
