Listen grandpa,

I don't have all the time in the world. Stop with the cut and paste and stop asking me so many questions.

You only ask e 2 or 3.

How about I give you links so you can do some research on your own so you can learn that GM food is safe.

Like I said, I don't have all the time in the world just for you.  I spent a lot of time looking for your Paper that I never found, and it probably doesn't exists, so I can't take you that seriously.

You invited me to ask you 2 or 3 questions. I accepted that invitation and asked you 2 or 3 questions - please see previous post - so answer them.

If you refuse to honour your invitation then refer to my second to last post.

because there has been no evidence in more than 20 years that GM food is unsafe. If anti-GMO "scientists" have issues, why are they not making their so-called long-term studies?

There is no long term studies that computers are safe and don't cause cancer.

However, it depends what you mean by long-term. You mean 50+ years? 70+ years? You mean a long and extensive studies for years on a human? That is illegal.

There is a long term study of 25 months on cows. I can also point to other examples.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20579187

It is possible, but very hard, especially for poor countries. So why are many farmers that are being affected by climate change not making them?

Just give me a break.

What reputable reports? CFR From the Nature Journal? Science Journal?

I will change my mind if you give me plenty of reputable studies from respected and well-known Journals.

Okay, that is enough. Like I said, I don't have all the time in the world, I can't afford to answer 1000 questions and respond to your long posts. Le

Learn to keep it brief, I have a life.

Refer to previous posts requiring you to keep you word that you will answer all my questions.

If you don't want to have a conversation with me, then don't have it.

""1. Do I need to remind you to keep your word that you would answer all my questions? 2. You said you would answer all my questions. Can I believe you?""

You didn't ask me anything relevant.

Again I reserve the right to agree with or disagree with anyone at my own choosing. BTW I don't disagree or agree with his premise. Though I do believe more study is warranted.

How? Tell me me.

What do you want to know? There are no longitudinal studies to date that say either way. IE: What if any effect will having plants and animals producing their own antibiotics, and pesticides have on the people who eat them?

You are refusing to honour a condition of our conversation that you set. First you refuse to answer my questions even though you said you would. Second, you invited me to ask you three questions, which I did, you then refused to answer them. So who is it that really doesn't want to have a conversation - you or me? (That is a rhetorical question, you are not required to answer it)

If you want to continue this conversation then refer to my previous post requiring you to keep your word that you will answer all my questions.

You know what, I am not going to allow MDDB to consume too much of my time, you are asking me too many question.

Just be brief and ask 2 or 3 at most.

Many reputable encyclopedias simply say there is a consensus on GM food, do we really need a formula, a telescope, or a thermometer to verify that?

Tell me, how complex is that? When many reputable encyclopedias say the same thing, I usually conclude that it is highly likely true.

Are you capable of anything beyond "many reputable encyclopedias"?  "Many" is what number, exactly?  What are the names of each of them?  What exactly makes them "reputable?"?

Surely, after repeating this ad nauseum, you can provide us with en extensive list of links to these many sources that you claim.

maybe this tactic will come in handy next time I want to win an argument.....all I have to do is toss out the phrase "many reputable whatever's..."  say I'm right and - voila! - argument over.

People will fall for that, right?

I already answer some question, just ask me 2 or 3 more. I change mind, I decided I am not going to answer all of your question, too many, requires too much time. It is just an online message board, my word and your word don't matter.

GM animals have not been approved.

Their own antibiotics? What? I din't think you understand what GM Food is. Direct genetic modification is a technology, not a product, nothing to do with producing their own antibiotics.

So you are fine with being a liar as long as it is on a message board? Hey, whatever floats your boat. But you are in no position to speak on my behalf, my word does matter regardless of where it is given.

See, short posts are much better than long posts.

Raingirl it is actually much worse than that. What Skeptic does is search the internet for articles with titles that he thinks supports his position. He doesn't actually read the articles and he has no idea of its content, position, its strengths, weakness etc. I know this is true because he linked me to an article. I followed the link and it was a paid subscription. I asked Skeptic if he had paid the $54 to read the article, he refused to respond. This is the reason why he cannot actually discuss the issue if it goes beyond a title of some article. Its not just this thread, it is his standard operating procedure on every thread he starts.

Yes, I also presented scientific papers, what else do you want me to do? LOL

It is just funny how many people don't like anything I say. It is ironic because Republicans do like GMO, and most people here are Republican.

You are a self confessed liar who doesn't believe it is necessary to be honest on this message board. Is it any wonder people don't like what you say?

I do have access to many Journals at the University. Stop accusing me of nonsense, of course the papers support what I say.

Just because you are 100% certain that GM Food is not safe doesn't mean Science is on your side.

I already told you to give me some papers from reputable Journals, and I will change my mind. You ignored that request.

Just ask me 2 or 3 questions, that is all. I don't have all day for a debate in the MDDB.

How about you give me some Scientific papers from Reputable Journals that prove GM Food is not safe?

LOL don't play games. you never asked me two or three questions.

"1. Do I need to remind you to keep your word that you would answer all my questions? 2. You said you would answer all my questions. Can I believe you?"

Please stop acting like a child. Either ask me two or three questions, or the conversation is over.

Or at least give me some papers from reputable journals that prove GM Food is not safe

You stated that you would answer all my questions that you had refused to answer. In accordance with your word I created a list of 34 questions and required you to answer them in order for our discussion to move forward. You refused to answer those questions, instead you asked me to limit the questions to 2 or 3. I took 2 questions from the list of 34 and asked you those. You refused to answer them.

Answer: don't care.

Now what is your final question?

I am still waiting for scientific papers from Reputable Journals that prove GM Food is not safe.

Answer: Don't believe me. Just read the Scientific Papers I presented, or watch the videos if you don't have access to the Papers.

Now give me some papers from reputable Journals that prove GM Food is not safe.

If you don't present anything, this conversation is over. I will ignore you.
