VideoGameJunkie Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 In the initiatories in the temple every body part is given importance. If your organs are donated if you die young, won't it also be harder to resurrect with your body if your organs are in other people? Has the church made a statement on being an organ donor yet because after doing initiatories again I thought about changing from being a donor to not a donor.
Duncan Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 (edited) God will resurrect everyone who has ever lived and however they died so I don't an issue with being an organ donor Edited February 25, 2016 by Duncan 2
Ginger Snaps Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 The church is in favor of organ donation. See CHI2 21.3.7 2

halconero Posted February 25, 2016 Posted February 25, 2016 We do those same ordinances for dead people. Consider the possibility in the words spoken there that they may refer to future events pertaining to a resurrected body. 2
