If there is no God besides him then why did Jesus quote a scripture where God called other sentient beings Gods besides him self?

John 10

 33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

 34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

 35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

God is not calling other sentient beings beside himself before time and space. These gods are leaders of people on earth. Whereas Jesus is claiming to be God the uncreated Creator alone from everlasting

The problem with your interpretation is these "gods" arent leaders of people... since the scene happens in a heavenly council scene.

      The Hebrew form structure of the scripture in question is the same as a exclusion of a sweetheart not absoluteness of others.

Snark aside, this type of behaviour isn't really tolerated well by any on the board, and I'm not just talking about the active Brighamite Latter-day Saints.

We have Catholics, Evangelicals, Exmembers, Non-Brighamite Mormons, Liberal Mormons, More Fundamentalist types, Evolutionists, Creationists, and everything inbetween. We even have a Luciferian and...Valentinus...I'm not sure what he is, but he's pretty cool so we tolerate him. We all argue, sometimes vehemently, but we don't spam each other with preachy posts designed to tell others what their belief are.

Example:

In the thread on grace, works, and faith coolrok probably takes a position similar to yours. He believes in the Triune God, and preaches the traditional Evangelical understanding of Salvation. While I think he's dead wrong on both his understanding of what Mormons think of salvation as well as salvation itself I respect the fact that he limits himself to justifying his position in a respectful, non-spammy manner.

One of the reasons you can't reply is probably because you haven't interacted enough in the social forum. So tell us who you are, your background, what kind of pizza you enjoy. We don't bite, except pizza, we bite that.

But how is he even able to start posts?
