That fact that he is back seems odd.Pahoran is a trademark, known internet wide for all those things you note here. Maybe the idea of the banning is to free Brother McGregor from this trademark. We should give Brother McGregor a chance be whom he might now be.

Whether he is Pahoran here, kiwi57 (he self-identified on patheos), or Russell Mcgregor here and else where; I do not see a difference in style or tone. Your dispute is with the Church; which offered direction and instruction to its members. I can see no reason why I, a sinner, and knowing only my own heart, thoughts, and intent, should ever find it appropriate to judge another person regardless of what Christ - The Savior of mankind, Son of the Father, and having suffered all afflication that He might know how to succor His people - did.

This is what might be called collateral damage in a war of words, I suppose. 1

I hope that isn't a reflection of how leadership in the church works, because the mods are not acting with good intentions at heart then. We are not church leadership. We are volunteers with families, callings, and jobs. We could devote countless hours debating moderation calls we have made with those who are unhappy with our decisions. Anyone on this board is welcome at any time to start, fund, maintain, and moderate a forum of their own. Furthermore, all threads relating to homosexuality have become tiresome to all of us and are the most likely to generate reports of disrespectful comments. We can disagree without being insulting.
