Ok.   I have missed the LDS sex scandal that has spread to hundreds of LDS leaders on several continents where the offenders are then moved so they can terrorize other boys.  All under the guise of privacy.  Could you please give me a link to that?  And a link that tells us the billions the LDS Church, or any other church has had to pay in lawsuits?  I missed that, too.  And maybe a link to the story where the worst LDS offender was secreted out of the country to avoid prosecution and/or other ramifications?

Of course you didn't, and that is why I have informed you that people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. What is worse, you have made accusations and then defensive statements in complete ignorance of the facts.  Had you known the facts, you would now be blushing beet red.  You have an obligation to inform yourself before speaking so recklessly.

 

Since all the information you need has already been assembled by organizations on the internet, I direct you to that source.  I would also say this to a Roman Catholic or Protestant who likewise mistakenly believed that his particular religion was free from pedophiles and that huge mistakes have not been made in allowing some pedophiles to continue their predation.

 

Were I a Roman Catholic, I would quietly communicate whatever concerns I had to my local parish priest, as well as to my bishop, archbishop, or papal nuncio.  If that does not have the desired effect, I recommend contacting the local law enforcement agency or district attorney.  I am not going to direct anyone here to actual sites or to discuss facts which are only fit for the tabloids or for prosecution.  Plenty has already been written on this issue, and I have already had my extensive say in private.

You're a lawyer, you know how to find it if you need. I don't want to do more harm than I probably already have. It's just that I use to think that way about the Catholics but realised they aren't alone. We all need to be wary as members of all faiths that this happens. It should be reported first and foremost to the law not to another middleman. No coverups.
