Pa Pa that is a true statement but it doesn't answer the question.  Did God create the bad things like Ebola?  If you say no then how to you reconcile the scriptures that say he created all things?

Does God directly create snowflakes?

Does God directly create snowflakes?

This a classic "dodge the question" and answers nothing.

That is what you are

My post asked two questions.  Now answer or get out of the play pen.

I always answers your questions, No, God probably did not create Ebola. God did not create literally everything.

Now, answer my question please.

Except that is counter to what Scripture does say.

Colossians 1:16

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.

I don't know what you mean by directly. If you mean he plans and carries out the creation of each individual snowflake. I don't see the necessity or desirability for God to do that.

I do not know what you mean by directly.  He did create and put in place the process which produces snowflakes so I would call that a direct connection.

The scriptures say "all must be baptized"

Do you believe literally everyone? What about people with down syndrome?

Dr. Greg Smith seems to agree with me

Dr. Smith wrote, "I prefer to think that HIV was not concocted in God’s laboratory. I do not like the idea of him crafting the Yersinia pestis that would wipe out at least a third of Europe. The malaria parasite and its mosquito vector were not his magnum opus"

To be clear, I do believe God created humans, animals,  the Earth, and maybe the laws of nature.

We do not know if God created the laws of physics.

I do like the fine tuning argument, but it is an unproven theory.

I'm having deja vu.  About the physics question, please see post 137.

I replied to 137, and it is not about physics.

I guess I'm confused.  If it's not about physics, why do you keep bringing it up?  You keep using the argument that "we don't know if God created the laws of physics" to conclude (if that is not too definite a word) that God  did not "directly" create snowflakes, or ebola, or whatever.  Why does it matter if God created the laws or simply uses them in his creation?

137 Eray was talking about Evolution.

We do not know if God knows everything (all events) that is going to happen in the future.

147 Einstein and Kaku are talking about quantum mechanics.

So, do you believe the devil caused all that mess in the Olympics?  :) See after 1:15

Funny video, but I can't tell if you really want me to answer the question or what it has to do with the topic at hand.  To answer you simply, no.

First you embrace macro-evolution then you start doubting God's abilities.  Watch out it is a slippery slope.

Hardly. The straw man was you comparing the figurative fire of hell with the very real warning of illness, plagues and scourges being sent by God to the inhabitants of the earth in these last days. We're still waiting for an answer to that one....

Actually it's a Red Herring.  But anyhow, I have no problem with God using Evolution in his Creation of us and our world/universe.

Good

I do not think God directly created Ebola, but I am not sure, I am open minded. Maybe God did create the conditions for Ebola, maybe he created the laws of physics.

I don't particularly like that fact, but it is just part of our fallen world. God made knees, and gravity. He allows us the opportunity to skin our knees when we fall down. Hopefully learning not to that, and how to administer the necessary first aid when we do.

A lot of intelligent LDS do not believe God created the laws of physics, some believe the Big Bang was not caused by God.

I don't know, the universe does seem to be fine tuned, maybe God did create the laws of physics, but we cannot be certain. .
