LOSTONE Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 A guest pastor spoke at my church for this past Sunday morning services. He said something to us that caught most of us attention. He said, “ You know, in this technology driven world we live in now, there is more access to the Bible than there has ever been before, but so less people reading the Bible daily, including Christians. That is sad. ” This blew me aware as I had to admit that I could see is point as very true. 1
Fennec Fox Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 I'll read the Scriptures after I finish checking these message boards.
3DOP Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 It is kind of amazing isn't it. I dunno...a hundred years ago they didn't have xbox and iphone...For every technological advancement that permits more Scripture, there are a hundred that permit more pornography and other forms of moral filth. I guess I don't see why anyone ought to be expecting that advances in technology should be reflected in advances in spirituality. 1
thesometimesaint Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 Choose you this day whom you will follow, but for me and my home we will follow the Lord.
LOSTONE Posted July 23, 2014 Author Posted July 23, 2014 I hope I did not creat any riggles for anyone in their own faith pratices. I just took note of the remark I heard in services this Sunday as it caught my attention. We are as well are regrdless of the resources we have in front of us.
