Talking about something doesn't = endorsing. And yes there isn't anything in church doctrine about it. One of the reasons the church gave is that its more economic to create your own than to pay the power company or a goverment = more tithes/offerings money to feed the poor. I think you mean Brigham Young. In either case, you get my point... that it was the rage at the time to believe in Moon People... but it is considered absurd now (having been to the moon). None of what you have mentioned in regards to the Church, makes a bit of difference towards Global Warming. Good enviromental stewardship does not require that one believe in Global Warming. The models are not capable of re-creating past events, and are not matching the real observations. Until such time as the models can repoduce past events accurately, there is no reason to believe they they can model future events. Garbage In, Garbage Out. There are much better explanations for the climate than trace gasses. Any theory that leaves out solar activity is insufficent to the task, IMHO. There has been no global warming since Aug 1996. And somehow, with all of NOAA data molestation, July 1936 is back to being the hottest month on record, instead of summer 2012. Science is so very rarely ever settled. TSS linked a video above where the "scientists" ironed out a bump in europes temperature data using similare methods. But, now that its tipping in our favor... he'll reject it out of hand.

So what the information you posted seems to be saying then is: A certain unamed ruling agency like several other ruling agencies as of late pulled some strings and "adjusted" the numbers to get an unamed global warming friendly puppet into a ruling position to further an agenda and now is "correcting" themselves.

I believe there are some bad actors, who are attempting to win the approval of the goverment in order to gain grants, fame, and a lavish lifestyle by falsely pushing a theory that has already been disproven, as truth. Not that dissimilar from most Baptist preachers I know...

When it doesn't it is not reputable. See how is all this is.

Or even a majority? Especially when there are corporate interests wisely willing to pay big money to get climate change shot down for economic reasons? It has to be a big conspiracy. Alrighty everybody, that's enough political arguments.
