thesometimesaint Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 Do any of the balloons ever collide! And if they do, does anything bad happen? Yes sometimes(Rarely) they do collide, or they tip over catching on fire. or get caught in wind sheer. The people in the gondolas die. Very tragic.
Tacenda Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Beautiful to look at, so impressed at how well it is choreographed. But you wouldn't catch me in one of those. I'm thinking a lot or most weren't occupied by people but were the balloons you see at parades and such, or am I wrong?
thesometimesaint Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 (edited) They all have occupants. These are BIG balloons being well over 16 ft tall with about 100,000 cubic ft of air in them as the most common. They generally can carry 3-5 people. But they can get even bigger at about 600,000 cubit ft. These can carry a dozen people, or more. http://www.air-pegasus.com/hot-air-balloon-dinner-groups.html Edited November 8, 2013 by thesometimesaint
