Not to mention the simple logic that if God already had a planet in which animals were living, dying and evolving, He didn't need Adam and Eve to "fall". He already had a fallen planet. He just had to put Adam and Eve's spirits into mortal bodies (as has happened billions of times since Adam and Eve) and things could go from there. No tree/serpent/transgression needed. You logic escapes me. I guess I am just too stupid to comprehend it. I will make one more attempt. This earth was prepared specifically for us. The earth had five days of creation to prepare for the arrival of Adam and Eve. During that creation process, plants and animals were transferred from other planets to this one. (They were subject to death). On the sixth day, the Garden of Eden was created, the culmulation of the previous five days. Adam, Eve and Satan were placed there to play their respective parts to make it possible for us to get a physical body, etc etc. On the sixth day, the creation of the Garden included the suspension of death (which was part of the previous five days of creation). Death was suspended (on this planet) as a necessary condition for the drama that was to follow. Adam, as he was created, was innocent, and not subject to death, so this whole sixdays of creation, including the creation of the Garden, were a necessary prelude for the creation of this individual. I guess he wants to emphasize that evolution happened. I wonder if Bill becomes more vocal, the schools will back away from showing his videos. But come to think about it, in high school I learned evolution and that man was an ape. I never believed it though. If that is what you " learned" in HS. I'd have a nice long talk to that teacher. I remember the teacher that taught it, even walked like an ape. I think he was doing it on purpose. I think I'll research the curriculum that was taught in that year I was in High School!

thesometimesaint Posted September 3, 2013 Posted September 3, 2013 We've come a long way from those days. I was never taught so called "scientific creationism" in HS, and I spent my first two years in HS not far from where the Scopes trial took place. Back then we were more concerned with putting men on the moon. Now-a-days if we want to teach creation myths. I'd be all for it as long as it isn't in science class, and all such religious myths are taught.
