This is a very encouraging report--in spite of the unfortunate typo referring to the food donated by "LSD." This "Nodding Disease" has very troubling effects:

Those who have been working with these children must be ecstatic over the improvement rate:

"The children were fed on Atmit porridge formula, manufactured by the LDS Brigham Young University. 'Ninety nine percent of the children improved after being fed with this product. We did not treat them because we do not know exactly what they are suffering from, but they improved with this food,"

No one mission of the Church is more important than the others. Increasing membership is only a side benefit, if it exists at all. Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he eats for a lifetime.

I would say we are not doing bad. Since 1985 aid has been given to 23 million people in 163 nations.
