Here:

Columbus police responded to a shooting with multiple victims Tuesday afternoon before 5 p.m.

According to representatives of the Columbus Ohio Temple, a Mormon temple, the shooting occurred in the parking lot.

The person who called 911 said that shots were fired at a car.

Police said that a woman as well as the male suspect in the shooting was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

The condition of the third person was not immediately known.

The report I read said it had nothing to do with the temple itself....what that exactly means I don't know. Probably the people weren't attending the temple or going into it.

Served my mission there. That's where we would hold transfer meetings. Drove by the temple a couple months ago when I was out there interviewing.

Wow. I was just there for an endowment session on Saturday. I haven't heard anything beyond the general news reports. Will post if I learn anything.

Apparently it did not happen in the parking lot, but on a road behind it (or the temple can't remember, but not on church property apparently).

Well, it seems it did happen in the parking lot, after all. But it was unrelated to the Church or temple. Apparently a domestic dispute by (as far as I can tell) non-Mormons. When I first heard about all this yesterday, I was a bit worried someone I know might have been hurt (I have friends who could very well have been there that day), but fortunately it wasn't. (I feel bad for the people involved, but am still glad it wasn't someone I know?)
