Opinion On Legality Of "Divine Investiture" Example?

Analogies and comparisons are only good "as far as they go." As far as it goes (and no further), doesn't this display the principle of "investiture of authority" (akin to power of attorney)?

While unwise in the eyes of the world, isn't the fact that we trusted each other this much (again, to the contrary of all worldly considerations) instructive? Isn't part of the unity of the Godhead the fact that each member is so unified that there is no difference between what one does and what the others would do?

Does anyone think our arrangement was actually illegal, or was it just "definitely stupid," as you say? Just curious.

While others advice is consistent with good judgement and I make no effort to take away from that, I still find that many times in my life I choose to trust someone simply for the fact that I refuse to be more afraid to trust than I am to loose a few bucks. Litigious demands place a barrier around us and sometimes I feel we sacrifice humanity for lesser causes.

Sure I have lost in a few instances, but never much and I am frankly glad that I never feel pressured to make a "safe" decision when I can and choose to make a "foolish" one that let's me delude myself into thinking I'm still not completely too jaded to trust another person.

That said, I also keep in mind that I am responsible for actions I take that place a stumbling block before another, so it is kind of a case by case thing for me.

Until God goes to a notary and gives Jesus and some angels power of attorney I think we can all agree that any use of divine investiture is fraud. Who wants to deliver the supoena?
