MorningStar Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Dawkins is an irrelevant figure to Flowers. There is no reason why he should know who he is. When I suggested that Flowers not talk about his religion it was intended for when the first question about religion was posed. Then he looks like he's ashamed of his religion if he doesn't want to talk about it, right? It's a no win situation.
emeliza Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 I agree. I think Brandon did just fine for being unprepared and not a scholar and he wasn't even given the opportunity to really respond because the interviewer told he him had to go to prepare for their song. It was a total set up.

emeliza Posted September 21, 2012 Posted September 21, 2012 Not at all. It could be a defense mechanism to protect himself and the sanctity of his faith.I think the only way he could have done that at the beginning was to comment that he loved his faith and supported it, but he was there to talk about the band and their music. That would have probably saved him, but again, who would have thought the interview would go that way.
