We know that not all of the church's wealth goes to humanitarian aid, we know that a good portion of the church's wealth is tied up in for-profit business, and we know that GAs receive a stipend, and we know that a good portion of the money donated is used to operate the church.Regardless of what they find, it will upset various groups -- and for no good reason. Its a good idea to keep it under wraps.

It seems like what I post on the internet gets interpreted to be something completely different then what is intended.

Once a Latter-day Saint hears that they become cultish....Because posting someone else's underwear on Facebook is not cultish at all. I can't understand for the life of me why someone doubted you might be the best influence in your child's life with your willingness to go public with your disdain of the faith your partner had been trying to teach your daughter to respect. 2

The finance thing is just something that should be done from my perspective. I am obviously not the one makes that decision, although I trust those that do. At the same time, this is a dscussion board so I stated my opinion. Nobody important is going to read this thread and my opinion matters not. It is just my opinion and interesting to discuss with other people.Except public declarations of one's thoughts do tend to solidify them and make them harder to change in the future even if posted anonymously. It is the way the brain functions.

It seems like what I post on the internet gets interpreted to be something completely different then what is intended.A common plight...my memory said that at least 50% of communication on the internet was miscommunication and likely higher, closer to 3/4 but it has been awhile since I saw the study and as of right now, I am impossible of any thought that doesn't occur immediately...bedtime, but not ready to turn off the light.

Unfortunately there are multiple forms of abuse and open books may open the door for a flood of other versions....all requiring significant time, effort, resources and likely money needed to reassure or settle in court if it gets that far.

Please report this kind of stuff and we will handle it as moderators.
