Speculation as to who the father of her first child (Orrison Smith) was provides the entire foundation of any claim that Fanny and Joseph had a sexual relationship. Thus DNA research which demonstrated that documented descendants of Orrison Smith in the direct male line are not the descendants of Joseph Smith demolishes the claim that Fanny Alger was anything to Joseph Smith other than an employee.It can, of course, be argued that there may be a difference between "documented" descendants and actual descendants, but the burden of proof is on those who make this argument. As things stand now the preponderance of evidence says the Fanny Alger/Joseph Smith relationship is a myth. So either pony up the evidence or shut up; cease and desist from claiming Joseph Smith and Fanny Alger had sex. 2

There are no first-hand accounts such as you describe. Emma Smith actually made a public written statement that conflicts with all accounts of Joseph Smith having any wives other than her. This document has been in the possession of the church formerly known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for more than a 150 years. Oliver Cowdery is documented as asking Joseph Smith if the rumors about him and Fanny were true. Why would Cowdery ask this if he had first hand knowledge.Now, when I say you are bearing false witness, I mean that your statement is factually incorrect whether you believe it to be correct or not. You have no right blackening the name of anyone living or dead when you don't know what you are talking about. 1

Fanny Alger never claimed to have had a relationship with Joseph Smith. Nobody ever witnessed them having sex. Joseph Smith denied any sexual relationship. In short there was never any evidence that Fanny Alger had sex with anyone while working for the Smith's other than her pregnancy.

I realize that some of you have seen MSNBC where some idiot repeated a fiction about Emma Smith catching Joseph in flagranto with Fanny Alger. This story is complete total fiction. Emma actually made statements in public that refute this and other allegation. Go ask a member of the church fomerly known as the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and they will be happy to show a copy of Emma's statement.No sex threads please.
